Seeds of Life from the Darkness

The Seed of Life is a sacred-geometry figure of seven overlapping circles, often read as a picture of creation unfolding. Anusuya extends it outward: the circles become petals, the petals become a flower, and the flower grows into broad outer rings of blue and green. At its heart, a dark ring around a small silver-grey centre stands for the fertile darkness of the title.

Indian tradition has long honoured the seed, the bija, as a symbol of potential: everything the tree will become is already inside it, waiting in the dark soil.
