Graceful lotus petals unfold in this sacred mandala, symbolizing purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. It’s a timeless piece that brings peace, focus, and elevated energy to any environment.
Sacred Lotus Mandala at its true framed size, about 40 × 53 cm, in four interiors.
Pink lotuses and buds on tall green stems rise up the left side of the sheet, while a round mandala in magenta, green and grey lace sits at the lower right, with a small cross-shaped flower at its centre.
Sacred Lotus Mandala sets the flower and its geometry side by side. On the left, three open lotuses and two buds climb on curving stems with broad leaves, painted in deep pink. On the right, the mandala repeats their colours in abstract form: magenta in its rim and inner ring, green in the gaps between grey petals, as if the lotus had been translated into pattern.
Few symbols are as central to Indian art as the lotus. It is the seat of Lakshmi and Saraswati, held in the hands of Vishnu and painted on temple ceilings, standing for purity and awakening because it opens clean above muddy water. This piece is gentle and balanced and is intended to bring calm, which makes it a natural choice for a pooja room or bedroom, or as a gift for a new home.
Yes. The lotus is one of the most sacred flowers in Indian tradition, and the soft pink, green and grey palette is gentle enough for a pooja room or prayer corner.
Yes. Each original is one of one, hand-drawn and signed by Anusuya R. If you would like the same image at a lower price, the replica is a giclée/inkjet print on A3 art paper, framed the same way.
